AlphaCare’s Christian faith shapes both why we serve and how we care for each person who comes through our doors. We believe every person is made in the image of God and already possesses inherent dignity and worth.
That conviction calls us to offer excellent medical care, compassion, practical support, and wise counsel without judgment, pressure, or political agenda.
We welcome women of all backgrounds and beliefs, meeting each one with respect and walking alongside her with care for both her immediate needs and the road ahead.

Pray With and For Us
Commit to regularly praying for AlphaCare’s clients, staff, volunteers, and ministry needs. Your church can also stay connected through prayer updates and invite members to pray specifically for the women and families AlphaCare serves.
Introduce AlphaCare
Invite AlphaCare to speak at a service, missions event, small group, or special gathering, or share our short documentary with your congregation. Helping people see the need in Philadelphia and understand AlphaCare’s response often opens the door to deeper prayer, service, and generosity.
Lead a Focused Campaign
Mobilize your congregation around a specific project such as a Baby Bottle Campaign, maternity or baby-item drive, or other targeted giving opportunity. These focused efforts give people of all ages a simple, tangible way to participate in AlphaCare’s mission.

Why Regional Church Partnership Matters
Your church can help bring pregnancy care and practical support to women and families in Philadelphia who have fewer resources close to home.
In 2024, nearly 38% of all abortions performed in Pennsylvania took place in Philadelphia County*, yet few places in the city provide the kind of consistent, life-affirming care AlphaCare offers. In many neighborhoods, especially in West and Southwest Philadelphia, women facing unexpected pregnancies can encounter significant barriers to care, from difficulty accessing timely prenatal services to unstable housing, limited childcare, transportation challenges, and long waits for essential resources.
Philadelphia churches are already doing faithful, deeply rooted ministry in their communities. AlphaCare’s desire is to serve alongside them, not replace what they are doing, and to strengthen that work through prayer, relationships, resources, and practical support. By building bridges with churches throughout the region, we can help connect resources, relationships, and opportunities with places where needs are most urgent, allowing churches across different communities to serve together and each contribute what they uniquely have to offer.
AlphaCare is currently one of only a few pregnancy resource centers serving all of Philadelphia. We are praying and planning to expand our reach, as God provides the people, resources, partnerships, and opportunities, building new pathways to care in other underserved parts of the city.

What Partnership Looks Like in Practice
Churches of all sizes have found meaningful ways to engage, such as:
- Hosting a baby bottle drive or collecting essential items like diapers and formula.
- Inviting an AlphaCare speaker to share during a missions Sunday, small group, or youth event.
- Sponsoring a week or month of AlphaCare services, helping provide medical care, education, practical support, and ongoing encouragement.
- Sending volunteers, from medical professionals to prayer partners, to serve in ways that align with their gifts.
- Visiting our Philadelphia location to see the ministry in action and better understand the needs we meet.
