Find Your Place in the Work
There are many ways to be part of AlphaCare’s mission. Whether you want to pray, give, serve with your hands, use a particular skill, involve your church, or simply become more connected, your participation helps strengthen the care available to women and families throughout Philadelphia.

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:10
Give
Give Financially
Your generosity helps keep AlphaCare’s medical care, social services, education, practical help, and ongoing support available at no cost to the women we serve. Give once, become a monthly supporter, or explore additional ways to give through stocks, donor-advised funds, planned gifts, matching gifts, and more.
Donate Material Items
Practical gifts help keep Kim’s Corner stocked with clothing, diapers, baby supplies, and other essentials for moms and little ones.
Give needed items yourself, shop for current needs, or organize a collection with friends, coworkers, or your church.
Become an Annual Sponsor
Annual Sponsorship offers individuals, businesses, churches, foundations, and other organizations a way to support AlphaCare throughout the year. Sponsors help make our events possible while receiving opportunities to introduce their organization to a community of supporters who value the mission.
Serve
Serve & Support
Sometimes helping simply means showing up and lending a hand. Individuals and groups can help with practical needs such as organizing donations, preparing materials, supporting events, delivering items to families, or assisting with special projects as needs arise.
Deeper Involvement
Some volunteers feel called to a more consistent or relational role. Opportunities may include hospitality, mentoring through The Sisterhood Program, professional or medical skills, ministry support, and other roles that bring volunteers more closely alongside AlphaCare staff and clients.
Work With AlphaCare
For some people, getting involved may mean bringing their professional experience into the mission every day. AlphaCare employs people in clinical, administrative, and support roles who share a commitment to serving women and families with compassion, integrity, excellence, and Christ-centered care.
Pray
Knee-Mail Prayer Team
Prayer is woven throughout AlphaCare’s ministry. Knee-Mail members receive regular email updates with specific prayer requests and praises related to the women we serve, our staff, programs, ministry needs, and the ways we see God providing.
Prayer Alert Texts
Some moments call for prayer right away. Prayer Alert Texts share timely requests when specific needs arise, giving you an opportunity to pray with AlphaCare in the moment, wherever you are.
Partner & Connect
Partner Through Your Church
AlphaCare wants to work alongside churches in Philadelphia and beyond. Churches can pray, give regularly, volunteer, organize focused campaigns, introduce AlphaCare to their congregations, refer women for care, and become long-term mission partners helping extend care into more neighborhoods.
Attend an AlphaCare Event
Events are a great way to experience the AlphaCare community firsthand. Attend, invite someone new, volunteer, sponsor, or simply come learn more about the ministry and meet others who care about women and families in Philadelphia.
Not Sure Where You Fit?
You do not need to know exactly where to begin. Tell us a little about how you would like to be involved by filling out our Volunteer Questionnaire, and we would be glad to help you find a meaningful next step.
